This Privacy Policy explains how CRS Calculator (“we,” “our,” or “this site”) handles information when you visit crscalc.com and use the CRS calculator and related tools. We designed this calculator to be usable without asking for your personal information, and this policy describes what that means in practice.
Information the Calculator Collects
The CRS calculator asks you questions about factors such as age, education, language ability, and work experience in order to estimate a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. Based on the calculator’s current implementation, the answers you enter are processed in your browser to calculate your score. They are not transmitted to or stored on our server, and we do not maintain any database of calculator answers.
Because this processing happens locally in your browser, we do not see, collect, or have access to the information you enter into the calculator.
If the way the calculator works changes in the future — for example, if we add a feature that saves or shares results — we will update this policy to explain the change.
Server and Technical Logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record standard technical information when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser/user agent, the pages requested, and timestamps. This is typical web server behavior and is separate from anything you enter into the calculator. We do not control the specific logging configuration, retention period, or infrastructure details of our hosting provider. We do not use calculator answers to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
The calculator does not require cookies to function. As of the effective date of this policy, we are not using analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. If we introduce cookies for additional functionality or other purposes, we will update this policy to explain what they are used for and why.
Analytics and Tracking
We do not currently use analytics or tracking services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar tools on this site. If we adopt any such service in the future, we will disclose it here, along with what data it collects and how it’s used.

Because calculator inputs are processed in your browser and not sent to or stored on our server, there is no calculator data for us to retain or delete. Technical server logs, if generated by the hosting infrastructure, may be retained according to the hosting provider’s operational, security, and legal requirements.

We take reasonable steps to keep this website secure. However, no website can guarantee complete security, and we cannot make absolute guarantees about the security of data transmitted over the internet or stored on any server, including standard technical logs described above.
Your Rights and Requests
Because we do not collect or store the information you enter into the calculator, there is generally no calculator data associated with you for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold other personal information about you (for example, through direct correspondence), you may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of that information, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for general audiences researching Canadian immigration criteria and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
